Walk out of the lecturewith the notes already written.
ClaroMeet listens through your phone or laptop and writes the lecture up every few minutes as it happens. You get to follow the argument, ask the question, and stop transcribing a slide you will never read again.
Nothing joins the lecture, and saving the audio is optional.
No bot in the participant list, no device on the desk.
Keep it to play part of the lecture back, or have it dropped after each segment.
Detects the language of each segment on its own.
It is not there to do the course for you
Handing your reading to a chatbot and getting an answer back teaches you nothing. This is the opposite job: you were in the room, you heard it, and now you have an accurate record.
The week before an exam is where this pays off
Every lecture you recorded is searchable in full text. Find the twenty minutes where the concept finally made sense, read the roll-up instead of scrubbing an hour of audio, and see what got flagged along the way.
For the days you cannot keep up
Tired, sick, distracted, or the lecturer is simply too fast. Record it once and read it properly later.
Following in a second language
Detected per segment. A seminar that drifts between English and French comes back correct in both.
Recordings you already have
Drop in a recorded lecture, a Zoom export or a voice memo and get the same write-up.
Skim it or read the detail
A short roll-up on top, the segment-by-segment write-up underneath. Skim before a seminar, read properly before an exam.
Group projects
Share a read-only link so nobody argues later about who agreed to what. Revoke it whenever.
Nothing is kept longer than you want
Set your own retention. Your content is never used to train anything.

Student pricing
Two plans built around a timetable. Verify once with your school email. Hours are hours of recorded audio, so a 50 minute lecture uses 50 minutes.
A free plan is available with 5 hours a month and no school email needed. Not a student? See the main plans.
Questions students ask
Am I allowed to record a lecture?
That depends on your school and sometimes on the individual instructor, and the rules differ by province. Check your course outline or ask the lecturer before you record. ClaroMeet puts no bot in the room, but that is not the same as permission.
Which email counts for the student price?
Any verified school address, including .edu and Canadian university and college domains. You only need it when you move onto a student plan, not to start on the free plan, and the price holds while the address stays active.
What happens if I run out of hours?
Recording stops rather than quietly charging you. You can move up a plan mid-month and the new hours apply right away.
Is this just a chatbot for my homework?
No. It writes up what was said in a room you were sitting in. It does not answer your problem set, write your essay, or invent material nobody covered.
Do you keep the recording?
That is up to you. Untick Save audio recordings and each segment is transcribed, summarized and then the audio is dropped. Leave it ticked and it is stored privately so you can play part of the lecture back. Either way you choose how long the text lives.
